Shye Benztur is an artist from Israel with a very unique style which combines middle east, indian, western african and flamenco music. Now Shy Benztur releases his new Cd in collaboration with Fernando Pérez, creating music which brings together traditional Sufi Qawwali, Rajasthani rhythms with Western elements.

Having studied Sufi music and culture for the last 10 years, Ben-Tzur released the album "Heeyam" (an Arabic word describing the state of supreme love), which was recorded in Rajasthan, Mumbai, Varanasi, Delhi, Tel Aviv and New York.

Involving musicians from various ethnic and religious backgrounds, the album shares the vision of unity through music and Ben-Tzur binds Islam, Hinduism and Judaism in a joyful celebration.

Shye and Fernando met in India were they collaborated on a new release which promises to give the audiences as great experiences as did the later "Heeyam".
